What You'll Be Doing
The Senior Developer will participate in all phases of the development process including complex design, integration and maintenance while observing proper behaviors, patterns, and standards. The Senior Developer will demonstrate leadership in mentoring and assisting all on the team, and will actively participate in all disciplines required in a full-stack environment. The Senior Developer will participate in defining Stifel's best practices and ensure they are used in all development projects and procedures.
What We're Looking For
  • Work with Development team in various phases of development, including design, implementation, integration, revision control, release and the maintenance of multiple products and systems.
  • Performs advanced discovery and research into technical problems and maps out improvements for web applications.
  • Lead the development of procedures, using test-driven development, which can be utilized within continuous integration practices.
  • Follow Stifel's coding and development standards and lead community-driven efforts to update them.
  • Lead efforts to document code in ways that are useful to both developers and support staff, simplifying and clarifying complicated concepts.
  • Lead ad-hoc groups of developers across teams to accomplish harder developmental efforts

  • Ability to create and maintain processes and procedures to improve implementation of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Uses negotiation skills and techniques to obtain agreement between different interests, challenges management constructively, bringing different views into the open.
  • Transforms mockups and wireframes into usable front-end functionality through developing, testing, and revising web application code.
  • Creates components based on user interface/user experience norms, including optimal accessibility, navigation, and cross-browser performance.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Required:6+ years' of progressive experience in software development

Licenses & Credentials
  • Minimum Required: None

Systems & Technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience in C#/.NET (Core and Framework) or T-SQL on MS SQL Server
  • Experience with Angular, AngularJS
  • Advanced experience with source control (like TFS and Git)

Compensation Range
Salary: USD $110,600.00/Yr. - USD $158,000.00/Yr.
