Sr. Full Stack AI Software Engineer

As a Full Stack Software Development Engineer at Micron, you will be part of the AI Platform Solutions Group (AIPS) within TPG, where you will design and deliver next-generation, AI-native applications that accelerates the capability for engineering teams we support to innovate. In this role, you will focus on building intelligent, scalable systems that integrate advanced AI capabilities—including large language models, retrieval-augmented systems, and agentic workflow orchestration—directly into engineering-critical applications and workflows. You will partner with multi-functional team members to translate complex business challenges into adaptive, high-performance solutions that employ autonomous agents, contextual reasoning, and workflow automation to drive decision-making and productivity. While your primary focus will be within AI Platform Solutions and TPG, the platforms and solutions you build will be architected for reuse and scale, enabling enterprise-wide impact across Micron’s global operations.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications across front-end, API, and backend layers.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Develop clean, high-quality, and well-documented code following engineering guidelines.
  • Fix and resolve application, system, and performance issues to ensure reliability and stability.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional team members to deliver solutions that improve business value.
  • Continuously improve engineering standards, processes, and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to the adoption of innovative solutions, intelligent automation, and modern software architectures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience working in xNIX/Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Rust, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and/or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, performance optimization, observability, and reliability engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI inference services, and AI-enabled software development.
  • Familiarity with agentic architectures and autonomous workflow orchestration.
  • Experience building AI-powered solutions using RAG, tool chaining, and context-aware decision systems.
  • Understanding of Responsible AI principles, model evaluation, observability, and safe AI deployment practices.
