General Summary:
The Full Stack Software Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web applications across the entire technology stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and APIs. This role owns feature implementation from design through deployment, using JavaScript, Python, Nuxt, and Vue.js to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software. The Full Stack Software Developer works cross-functionally with product management, design, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality product capabilities. Familiarity with VoIP open-sourced software such as FreeSWITCH and Kamailio is a plus and is considered an asset for projects involving telephony and real-time communications.
Essential Job Functions:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications using JavaScript, Python, Nuxt, Docker, GitLab, and Vue.js
• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services in Python
• Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using Vue.js and Nuxt
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards
• Help ensure application security, performance, and reliability across the stack
• Manage source control, branching, and merge request workflows using GitLab
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines within GitLab
• Manage feature implementation from initial design through release
• Validate feature completion against requirements
• Support release and launch communication
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full application stack
• Support production issues and participate in incident response as needed
• Assist with SIP-based telephony integrations where applicable
• Collaborate with telecom engineering on real-time communications features
• Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge sharing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 2+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and event-driven systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently managing multiple priorities in a demanding environment
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
