What is a full stack development internship?

A Full Stack Development Internship is a temporary training position where interns gain hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end web development. Interns work with various technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, and server-side languages, to build and maintain complete web applications. This role helps aspiring developers understand the software development lifecycle, collaborate with teams, and apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects. It's an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to enhance their coding skills and increase their employability in the tech industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full stack development intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full Stack Development Intern, you need a solid understanding of both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (such as Node.js, Python, or Java) development, often supported by relevant coursework or projects. Familiarity with tools like Git, databases (e.g., MySQL or MongoDB), and frameworks like React or Express.js is typically expected. Strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and effective communication set standout interns apart. These skills and qualities are crucial for contributing to projects, adapting to new technologies, and collaborating successfully within a development team.

What types of projects or tasks can I expect to work on during a full stack development internship?

As a Full Stack Development Intern, you will typically work on both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Common tasks include building user interfaces, developing APIs, integrating databases, and collaborating with designers and senior developers to deliver features. You may also be involved in debugging, testing, and deploying code to ensure product stability. This hands-on experience offers a great opportunity to learn industry-standard tools and workflows, while contributing directly to live projects.

Job description

Your Company:

As the Nonprofit Marketing Platform trusted by over 1,300 nonprofits, Feathr is purpose-built to help our customers unlock more results, time, and confidence.

Feathr's software marketing platform equips nonprofits with the tools they need to build purposeful connections with their community and grow impact with confidence.

We're working on building an amazing culture at Feathr, where amazing people (like you) can do their best work. If you're ready to grow and "help the helpers" you've come to the right place.

Sr. Manager of Revenue Operations

Compensation: $125,000- $150,000 base annually + 15% annual bonus
Benefits: Fully Remote, Health/ dental/ vision, Paid Vacation/ sick/ holidays

About the Role

We're looking for a Revenue Operations leader to partner across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Services — owning the systems and processes that support how our revenue engine runs. This is a hands-on role: you'll be evaluating, simplifying, and in many cases personally building the processes and system configurations that let our teams move faster with less friction.

Your first mandate will be to cut through complexity of existing processes: understand what exists, why it exists, what's still needed, and what can be removed. From there, you'll build the operating rhythm — process, systems, and reporting — that scales with us going forward.

What You'll Do
  • Simplify before you build. Audit our current revenue systems and workflows (Salesforce, HubSpot, Planhat) to identify legacy complexity, redundant processes, and technical debt, then remove or rebuild what no longer serves the business.

  • Own the systems that support revenue. Serve as the primary owner of Salesforce architecture and administration; maintain working fluency across HubSpot and Planhat (you don't need to be the sole admin of either, but you need to understand the data flowing through them and how they connect to the broader stack).

  • Get hands-on. This role isn't purely strategic. You'll be in the platforms yourself, configuring, troubleshooting, and building as needed, particularly in the early phase of the role.

  • Build reporting and insight visibility. Establish a reporting mindset across RevOps, surfacing trends, retention signals, and operational risks early, and pushing that visibility up to leadership.

  • Partner cross-functionally. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership, as well as Finance, to ensure systems and processes support how the business actually operates, not the other way around.

  • Document as you go. Establish documentation practices for systems, workflows, and integrations (e.g., Salesforce-to-Intacct data flows) so institutional knowledge doesn't live in one person's head.

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related GTM function, within a B2B SaaS or technology company of comparable size (~100 employees, $20M in Revenue).

  • Proven, hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and architecture. Working knowledge of HubSpot and Planhat (or comparable platforms) strongly preferred.

  • A track record of simplifying, automating, and scaling. You've taken an overbuilt or under-documented system and made it easier to use while supporting business growth, ideally at a company of similar size/revenue to ours.

  • Experience deciding how to resource a function. Knowing when to hire, when to bring in a contractor, and when to use an agency, and building the case for each.

  • Comfort operating as an individual contributor and a leader. This will start as a one-person function, and the role will involve real execution in its early stages.

  • Strong communication skills. You'll need to translate system-level detail into insights leadership can act on, and vice versa.

Compensation:

Base pay for this position is $124,000- $150,000, plus up to an additional bonus amount of up to 15% of the base salary.

In addition, you’ll receive health/dental/vision insurance, and other benefits like a professional development budget, wellness credit, and being a part of an incredibly dedicated team.

Location:

This role is open to remote candidates located within the United States, with a preference for those in the EST or CST time zones.

Interview Process:

As a part of our commitment to creating a fair, equitable, and positive interview experience for all candidates, we offer full transparency of our interview stages to give applicants an idea of the time and effort involved. Additionally, each interview stage consists of standardized questions and rubrics with a scoring system to ensure a consistent and fair assessment practice of all candidates.

  • HR Information Screen - The Talent Acquisition Team will invite candidates that move forward to a virtual interview. This conversation will be focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and answering any questions the candidate has.

  • Manager Interview - Candidates will meet with the VP of Customer Success and VP of Sales and Marketing separately for two 45 minute virtual interviews to dive deeper into the role, technical knowledge, and requirements of the position.

  • Work Assignment & Panel Interview - Candidates will be given a work assignment prompt to complete a project that is relevant to the work they can expect in the role. The completion of the assignment should not take more than 90 minutes, and candidates are given multiple days to work on the project. They will present the assignment to key members of the team.

  • References, Offer, and Background Check - The Talent Acquisition Team will reach out with the details of the offer to discuss with the candidate.
