About the team
Worldpay, LLC seeks Senior Full Stack Java Software Developer in Cincinnati, OH to analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.)
What you will be doing
The Senior Full Stack Java Software Developer will Design and develop full stack (utilizing AWS, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Maven, Java, NodeJS, LDAP and ForgeRock, Swagger, Kubernetes, DB2 and SQL), user experience software applications with various UI and RESTful APIs technologies Additionally, the role will:
  • Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Understand and advocate API Best Practices for all API products.
  • Works with architecture / technical leads to build designs for longer term scalable products.
  • Assess architecture/solution designs are fitting with the longer-term scalable product vision.
  • Review API specs and assess fit with long term product goals.
  • Develop reference implementation for RESTful APIs for proper use of frameworks and technologies.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
  • Monitors the development progress and provide updates to stakeholders, as requested.
  • Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Develop reference implementation for RESTful APIs for proper use of frameworks and technologies.
  • Train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application.
  • Reviewed and provided feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.
  • Performed troubleshooting of post-release software faults to support live service and installed software patch design.
  • Utilized best practices to identify and remedy bugs in applications within specific timeframe.
  • May be responsible for developing or executing project plans and schedules and for documenting work and results.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: developing core version of software applications, identifying purchasing requirement and technical specification, and interacting with engineering group to assist design changes; designing and developing full stack utilizing AWS, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Maven, Java, NodeJS, LDAP and ForgeRock, Swagger, Kubernetes, DB2 and SQL; working with user experience software applications with UI and RESTful APIs technologies; developing reference implementation for RESTful APIs for proper use of frameworks and technologies; working with architecture and technical leads to build designs for longer term scalable product; assessing architecture/solution designs for longer-term scalable product visions; collaborating with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product; reviewing API specs and assessing fit with long term product goals; reviewing and providing feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria; and implementing API Best Practices for all API products. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
