Job description

Full Stack Developer

You will act as a full stack developer for a system supporting mission management and workflow automation, working closely with a team of developers, analysts, and subject matter experts to develop and maintain a data orchestration platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform full stack development of system features based on customer requirements, focusing on backend API development.
  • Implement feature additions and updates in response to evolving mission-driven requirements.
  • Provide development support to automation development team by conducting code reviews, offering software-engineering expertise, and developing enabling functions for automations.
  • Modernize and harden the mission management system, including migration to modern infrastructure (Kubernetes), performing system upgrades, and integrating additional security features.
Required Skills:
  • Experience building full-scale applications and APIs with Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.
  • Service containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (including Helm chart authoring and CI/CD integration).
  • Proficiency with SQL and noSQL databases (PostGres, MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with data orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow.
  • Full-stack application development experience including front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
  • Familiarity with automation testing and CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Experience with production advanced security operations capabilities and operations.

Experience Required: 8 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 12 years without degree

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Salary Range: $148,000 - $177,000
