Position Description:
This role is office based at our client site in Overland, KS.
For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available.
This position is for a highly skilled and hands-on Software Engineering Lead to drive the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise-scale banking applications. You will possess deep technical expertise in .NET, C#, React JS and Microsoft SQL Server, along with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise solutions in Agile environments. Expertise in Kafka and Flowable BPM is highly preferred. You must possess practical knowledge of AI Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted software development.
This role requires a technical leader who remains actively involved in architecture, design, coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and mentoring development teams while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams. Experience within the Banking and Financial Services domain is essential.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Lead the design, development, modernization, and enhancement of enterprise banking applications.
. Provide technical leadership and hands-on development across the full software development lifecycle.
. Architect scalable, secure, high-performance, and resilient enterprise solutions.
. Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
. Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, estimation, sprint planning, and release activities.
. Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and secure coding principles.
. Drive application performance optimization, scalability improvements, and production issue resolution.
. Mentor and guide development teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI-assisted development practices.
. Ensure compliance with banking, security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps automation initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
. Must have practical knowledge of AI Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted software development.
. 6+ years of enterprise software development experience.
. Proven experience leading Agile development teams.
. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
. Demonstrated success delivering large-scale enterprise applications within the banking domain.
. Expertise in Kafka and Flowable BPM is highly preferred.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $198,400.00.
