Job description

Role-Java Full Stack Engineer +Spring Boot + React + GCP

Location- Issaquah, WA (Hybrid )

Duration -12+ months

Role Overview

The Java Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing backend services, frontend

screens, and cloud-ready integrations for an identity and verification platform. The role will

support Spring Boot API development, React UI implementation, third-party API integration,

and deployment support on GCP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance Java Spring Boot REST APIs
  • Build and integrate React-based UI screens with backend services
  • Implement business logic for identity, membership, and verification workflows
  • Integrate with third-party/vendor APIs using defined integration patterns
  • Support request/response mapping, error handling, retries, and fallback logic
  • Work with databases such as Cloud Spanner for data storage and retrieval
  • Support deployment activities on GCP / GKE
  • Configure and consume environment properties, secrets, and feature flags
  • Add structured logging and support monitoring/alerting requirements
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and support QA defect fixes
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and Agile delivery ceremonies
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive data and follow PII-safe logging practices
  • Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience with React.js and JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Good understanding of microservices and API-based architecture
  • Experience integrating with external or third-party APIs
  • Working knowledge of GCP services such as GKE, Spanner, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager,
  • Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring
  • Experience with SQL / relational databases and basic data modeling

  • Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices
