This includes partnering with the product ownership and the business on the team to define tasks and provide final estimates for User Stories. The Developers are responsible for attending and participating in all Scrum ceremoniesAbout This Role:ResponsibilitiesWork with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutionsAbility to lead work breakdown exercises to create projects, epics, and storiesLead in the development of front-end application standards with a focus on re-usability and security.Serve as a technical mentor for peers, guiding developers to apply software patterns and principles.Provide guidance on industry and company best practices within the team and the organizationPartner with Enterprise Architecture to apply/define architecture principles for current and future stacksParticipate and engage in COEs (Centers of Excellence) to lead agile teams in the adoption of technology standards and best practices with a focus on reusability, scalability, resiliency and securityDesign client-side and server-side architectureBuild features and applications with a mobile responsive designDesign client-side, server-side, and mobile architecture. Influence and guide the use of Micro Front-end DesignTechnology Steward - Identify technology needs and work with the Squad Leadership to prioritize those needs with other business objectives. Ensure we are delivering on technology value in addition to business value.Test software, both manual and automated, to ensure responsiveness and efficiencyT roubleshoot and debug softwareCreate security and data protection settingsRequirements5+ years' experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) and JavaScript frameworks ( Angular, React )5+ years’ experience with multiple back-end languages ( Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin )5+ years’ experience with designing and implementing REST APIs (working knowledge of OpenAPI Spec/Swagger); working knowledge of SOAP APIsFamiliarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQLServer) and web servers (e.g. Apache, nginx)Experience with software design principles as well as UI prototype designWorking knowledge of Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven DevelopmentAbility to write quality unit, functional and automated testsExperience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLabKnowledge of Gradle, Apache Maven, Apache ANT is desirableThe Ideal Candidate for This Role:DesiredFinancial services industry experience preferred but not requiredExperience utilizing AI engineering tools to accelerate software development pipelines preferredExperience with AWS Native development preferred but not requiredCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:Compensation range (base pay): $107,552.00-$182,838.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.Work Environment:It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
