Originally founded as a small construction company in 1949, Nabholz is now a team of more than 1,700 industry leading professionals working together to serve our clients, communities, and each other. Summary: 

NABHOLZ CONSTRUCTION seeks to provide interns with learning opportunities in a dynamic environment. Interns apply and test their knowledge and skills on project sites and/or in an office environment. NABHOLZ is proud of its history of developing successful relationships with various universities and ultimately hiring talented construction management students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • During the program, interns have opportunities to gain relevant field experience in the following areas:

    • Help develop, maintain, and improve existing applications.
    • Build/Learn .NET web solutions.
    • Troubleshoot and maintain legacy projects/applications.
    • Proactive and motivated to be involved in special projects to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency of information technology operations.
    • Research and stay up to date on modern technologies.
    • Help co-workers or partners with problems they may have. Ensure high-quality customer service.
    • This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
    • All other tasks as assigned.

Education/Skill Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a College or University.
  • Solid programming skills.  
  • Willingness to learn, self-starter, and high degree of initiative. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Able to work in a team & build effective relationships. 
  • Microsoft SharePoint, Office, and Visual Studio experience preferred but not required. 
  • Knowledge of C#, Blazor, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript preferred but not required. 
  • Database management, preferably Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

  • Travel overnight as projects or corporate responsibilities require.
  • Continuously sit, stand, or walk.
  • Bend, squat, climb stairs, or ladders.
  • Lift frequently, occasionally up to 25 pounds

 Work environment:

  • Office, cubicle, jobsite, or workstation.
  • Often work at great heights, or outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Some jobs expose workers to harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, electricity, loud noise, or dangerous machinery.
