This means they can work on the user interface, server-side logic, databases, and sometimes even deployment and infrastructure. Full Stack Developers are versatile and can handle multiple aspects of building and maintaining web applications. Their broad skill set allows them to work across the entire technology stack, making them valuable assets to development teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full stack application developer?

To thrive as a Full Stack Application Developer, you need strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end programming languages (such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Node.js, Python, or Java) and a solid understanding of software development principles. Familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular, database systems (SQL or NoSQL), version control (Git), and potentially certifications like AWS Certified Developer are commonly expected. Job Description:

The .NET Full-Stack Web Application Developer will design, develop, enhance, and support web applications using a modern .NET technology stack. The ideal candidate will have strong, current experience with C#, .NET, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, ADO.NET, SQL Server, and Microsoft DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern .NET and Angular technologies.
  • Build server-side functionality with C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, and Razor Pages.
  • Create responsive user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks.
  • Develop database-driven solutions using ADO.NET, SQL Server, stored procedures, and related technologies.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and database components to support application functionality.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical designs and software solutions.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established development practices.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, source control, and deployments through Microsoft DevOps.
  • Work within an Agile environment to deliver application enhancements and new functionality.
  • Utilize Git for source control and collaborative development.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Work with third-party .NET libraries and development components as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional .NET development experience.
  • Strong experience with modern .NET, including .NET Core and newer versions such as .NET 8, 9, or 10.
  • Current, hands-on experience developing applications with Angular.
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, and Razor Pages/CSHTML.
  • Practical experience using ADO.NET for database access and application development.
  • Experience using data annotations within .NET applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience developing database-driven applications with Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures.
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience with responsive CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, UIkit, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of Git and version-control practices.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Oracle database experience is a plus.
  • AWS experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Blazor or React is a plus.
  • Experience with third-party .NET component libraries such as DevExpress, Telerik, GrapeCity, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Position is not eligible for sponsorship. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Additional Details:

This position requires candidates with recent, hands-on experience across both front-end and back-end development. Experience should be practical and current rather than limited to classroom exposure, occasional use, or older versions of a technology. Candidates should be comfortable contributing throughout the full software development lifecycle, from application design and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Perks:

  • Work with modern .NET and web development technologies.
