Full Stack Java Developer Mid $70,000-$82,000 | Omaha, NE | Interim Top Secret Clearance Required Build the tools that protect the nation-apply your full stack skills to mission-critical DoD systems with Caribou Thunder. A Day in the Life - What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications, integrating front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Connect secure application interfaces with classified DoD infrastructure and data systems Manage backend databases with a focus on performance, cybersecurity, and data integrity Implement secure coding practices aligned with DoD compliance standards using tools like Fortify and SonarQube Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging within Agile development teams Document system architecture and workflows to ensure audit readiness Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity teams, and program managers to deliver mission-ready software tools Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree + 3-10 years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Active Interim Top Secret security clearance required Hands-on experience with: Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS for full stack development Secure coding practices, static code analysis with Fortify and SonarQube Agile/Scrum methodologies and full software development lifecycle (SDLC) GitLab CI/CD, WebLogic, and Nexus Repository for DevOps and build automation Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, Helm, and Helm Charts Strong collaboration, documentation, and debugging skills in fast-paced classified environments Preferred Qualifications Experience deploying Java applications to WebLogic servers Familiarity with GitLab pipelines and DevSecOps workflows Strong understanding of DoD software development standards, compliance protocols, and secure infrastructure If this sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
