People Concern Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, you will utilize evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive mental health care to clients across various demographics. Our innovative approach combines live video sessions and self-guided video lessons, leveraging a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-based methodology to enhance the therapeutic experience. This full-time position is entirely remote, providing optimal flexibility while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Our Community Health Clinic integrates advanced technology to streamline therapy sessions and documentation processes, allowing counselors to focus on what truly matters—client care. Supported by robust operational resources, including IT assistance and administrative support, our counselors can efficiently manage their practice and dedicate time to their clients.

• Conduct weekly live video counseling sessions with individual adult clients, facilitating therapeutic interventions rooted in evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and other counselors, to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment.
• Utilize our automated symptom self-assessment tools and progress monitoring systems to assess and adapt treatment plans based on client feedback and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in regular peer consultations and receive support from clinical leadership to foster professional development and enhance service delivery.

Your role will specifically focus on working with a diverse array of adult clients suffering from various mental health disorders. We encourage our counselors to address the full spectrum of mental health issues and promote inclusivity within their practice by delivering culturally responsive care tailored to each individual's unique background and circumstances.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as either a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is necessary.
• At least 1 year of independent practice experience as a licensed therapist or counselor.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with adult populations, particularly those facing heightened mental health risks.
• Demonstrated ability to apply cognitive behavioral therapy along with other evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Familiarity and comfort in working with a broad range of mental health disorders and a commitment to engaging all client populations.
• Proficiency with technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic medical record systems, to enhance the counseling experience.
