• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health through detailed interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Collaborate with clients to identify their unique needs, challenges, and goals, forming the basis for personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions targeting a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions designed to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and foster relational strength.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on clients' progress and feedback, ensuring a client-centered approach.
• Maintain meticulous client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, while meeting documentation deadlines to comply with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support and share resources beneficial for clients' holistic care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary, especially for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and education on the latest therapeutic practices and methodologies.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding all client interactions and sensitive information.
• Advocate for clients' rights, helping them navigate their treatment options and empowering them in their journey toward recovery.

As an LMFT at Carewell Behavioral Health Clinic, you will work closely with a diverse client base that includes individuals, couples, and families from varied backgrounds. Your expertise will facilitate healing for those navigating personal issues, relational conflicts, and mental health struggles, allowing you to make meaningful contributions to clients' overall well-being.

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Active LMFT licensure through the State Board of Georgia is required.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and couples therapy across different age groups.
• Strong skills in evaluating and formulating tailored treatment plans based on client assessments.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively utilize electronic health record systems.

• Two or more years of direct clinical experience in therapy, specifically working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Experience in crisis intervention strategies and managing high-stress client situations.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to family systems and relationship dynamics.
