Full Heart Family Therapy, Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our compassionate and dynamic care team in Stockton, California. In this full-time role, you will provide remote therapy services to clients, focusing on fostering mental wellbeing and strengthening family dynamics. Your experience in various therapeutic models, including structural family therapy, narrative therapy, system theory, transgenerational therapy, and communication therapy, will be highly valuable in your approach to treatment.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate mood disorders, including the duration and severity of symptoms, while documenting these findings accurately.
• Develop and implement tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Provide educational resources and ongoing support to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions and therapeutic practices.
• Regularly monitor client progress and make necessary modifications to treatment strategies based on evolving needs.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and thorough documentation.
• Participate in staff consultations and case reviews, and actively engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and fight stigma while championing the needs of clients within the community.

You will primarily work with a diverse population of clients ranging from individuals facing relational conflicts to families grappling with more complex systemic issues. Our clients commonly experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitional life challenges, making your empathetic approach and therapeutic expertise pivotal to their healing journey.

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in California is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to cultivate meaningful relationships and trust with clients and families.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic models and an understanding of how to apply them effectively in practice.

• At least 2 years of experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on family therapy or community mental health services.
• A history of engaging effectively with diverse populations and tailoring interventions to meet varied cultural contexts.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
