Position Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Citizenship Requirement: U.S. citizenship required.

Security Clearance: None/Not Required.

Relocation: Not offered; must reside in Puerto Rico at start.

Responsibilities
  • Design Digital Circuit Cards from inception through layout and assembly.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure requirements are met at every level of design.
  • Work with ECAD designers to generate full databases and drawings to build PWB/CCAs.
  • Perform design analyses (timing, power, signal integrity and others).
  • Perform design verification and troubleshooting.
  • Produce and present design documentation.

Qualifications (Required)
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience.
  • Professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience taking a design concept from requirements to CCA development.
  • Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design process and expertise in full suite of design tools.
  • Proficiency in design verification/analysis – timing, power, signal integrity analysis, bench-level testing, troubleshooting, and test results analysis.
  • Experience conducting trade studies and producing comprehensive design documentation including test requirements and design memos.
  • Experience coordinating with other disciplines and communicating effectively to ensure product success.
  • Proficiency with Siemens Xpedition Design Tools.
  • Understanding of IPC Standards for PCB Design and Fabrication.
  • Understanding of IEEE and MIL standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Tool Suite.
  • Proficiency with analog and mixed-signal circuits.
