Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Specifically looking for nurses that can scrub, not operate fluoroscopy, they do not need to have ARRT. RCIS cert would be great! This position would operate more in the rad tech role. Unit accepts 1st time travelers. Years of experience required: 2 - Must have experience in the cath lab. Cannot receive profiles with IR only experience. Cath/IR RNs are scheduled for 4 - 10-hour days a week (7:00 am - 5:30 pm). Average 8-10 call shifts per month inclusive of 1 full weekend of coverage. Pending license accepted: (Y/N) No RTO restrictions: Please keep RTO close to 1 week. Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? No locals (75 miles). Certifications: ACLS, BLS Skills: Interventional cardiac cath lab, special procedures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations adult, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, angioplasty, gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, percutaneous hepatic angiography, embolization, nephrostomy, renal angiography, renal artery stent placement, uterine arterial embolization, chest tube placement, lung biopsy, pulmonary angiography, pulmonary embolization, angioplasty, central venous access - non-tunneled/PICC placement, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, dialysis graft interventional, endovascular interventions, stent graft placement, SVC/IVC venograph, upper and lower extremity angiography, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, implanted ports - care and maintenance, IV infusion pumps, 12 lead EKG, circulate procedures, infection prevention, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, monitoring procedural sedation RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at Unity. Patient diagnoses: CL patients requiring cardiac cath either diagnostic or intervention. IR lab patients requiring drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, biopsy etc. Must have experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab.
