Victory Single Parent Ministry Coordinator
Position Status: Part time
Classification: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
The Victory Single Parent Ministry Coordinator is a multi-tasking position involving full knowledge of all administrative procedures at Victory Church. The position will require active participation in scheduling events, developing action plans for event preparation, following proper office procedure, priority assessment, task coordination, calendar management, and general office administration.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Completes tasks and duties according to general office needs including but not limited to answering phones, greeting visitors (at the SPM table before and after services), relaying messages, sending bulk emails on behalf of the VSPM, cleaning and organizing, filing, supply orders, and preparing mail.
  • Schedules phone calls, meetings with department leaders, ministry sessions, and connect with other pastors.
  • Updates and maintains SPM Pastor's calendars with department and church-wide events.
  • Prepare and turn in all Purchase Orders, and Check Requisitions for Victory SPM with brief description of need to accounting.
  • Submit all receipts.
  • Keep detailed reports for reference to all expenditures.
  • Oversee the administration needs pertaining to major events such as Car Repair, Handyman, Lawn Care, Mother's Day, School Supplies, Tulsa State Fair, Thanksgiving Day Brunch and SPM Christmas Toys Gift Giveaway.
  • Coordinates facility reservations to include A/V, Facilities, etc.
  • Assists SPM Pastor in ministering to Single Parents.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient with computers and administrative process management.
  • The ability to work independently, identifying resources and make independent decisions.
  • Ability to keep confidential matters relating to Single Parents in confidence.
  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • The ability to multitask between projects and needs.
  • Positive customer-oriented attitude and professional image.
