Full Nodejs Developer information

How does a Full Node.js Developer typically collaborate with front-end teams during project development?

Full Node.js Developers frequently work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between server-side logic and client-side interfaces. This collaboration often involves defining API endpoints, coordinating on data formats, and troubleshooting issues that arise during the handoff of features. Regular communication through stand-up meetings, code reviews, and shared documentation helps maintain alignment and accelerate project delivery. Being proactive in resolving integration challenges and understanding front-end requirements are key to a successful workflow.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Full Node.js Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full Node.js Developer, you need strong proficiency in JavaScript (especially Node.js), understanding of server-side frameworks, database management, and experience with RESTful APIs, typically backed by a degree in computer science or related field. Familiarity with tools such as Express.js, MongoDB, Docker, and version control systems like Git, as well as knowledge of deployment platforms, is essential. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills help developers collaborate effectively and adapt in dynamic environments. These competencies ensure robust, scalable backend solutions and smooth integration with frontend components, which are crucial for delivering high-performing applications.

What are Full Node.js Developers?

Full Node.js Developers are software engineers who specialize in building both the backend and, often, parts of the frontend of web applications using Node.js. They are proficient in JavaScript and work with frameworks such as Express.js to create APIs, manage databases, and handle server-side logic. In addition to backend development, they may also have experience with frontend technologies, making them versatile in building end-to-end solutions. Their role typically includes designing scalable architectures, ensuring application security, and optimizing performance. Full Node.js Developers are in high demand for their ability to deliver complete web solutions efficiently.

What is the difference between Full Nodejs Developer vs Backend JavaScript Developer?

While both roles focus on JavaScript and Node.js, a Full Nodejs Developer specializes in building complete server-side applications using Node.js, whereas a Backend JavaScript Developer may work with various backend technologies but also emphasizes JavaScript-based server-side development. The roles often overlap, but the Full Nodejs Developer is more specialized in Node.js-centric projects.

Job description

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Team Builder & Full-Stack Specialist)
Stack: JavaScript (Node/Lambdas), MongoDB, Angular, AI-Integrated Workflow
If you are unable to complete this application due to a disability, contact this employer to ask for accommodation or an alternative application process.
The Mission
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who acts as a force multiplier. In this role, you will be a key pillar of a transforming engineering organization, working directly with engineering leadership to build a world-class engineering culture. You aren't just an individual contributor; you are a team builder and a mentor who thrives on elevating the collective skills of those around you.
The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you are expected to be a master of the craft. You will be a self-starter who navigates our JavaScript API layer, AWS Lambdas, and Angular frontend with precision. You understand that "done" means the code is clean, tested, documented, and delivered through a disciplined SDLC. You'll work across application and data-integrated systems, contributing to features that rely on both real-time application logic and underlying data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-Stack Execution: Ship high-quality features across the entire stack including systems that integrate with APIs and underlying data platforms, using Node.js, AWS Lambdas, and Angular. You lead by example in writing S.O.L.I.D., maintainable code.
  • AI-Driven Productivity: Core Requirement. You are fully proficient in using AI code assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development, refactor legacy code, and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Mentorship & Nurturing: Actively mentor less experienced engineers (including our contractor partners). You take pride in helping others understand complex architectural patterns and better development habits.
  • Agile Excellence: Be an active participant and leader in our Agile ceremonies. You help the team self-organize, identify process improvements, and maintain a high velocity without sacrificing quality.
  • Team Building: Collaborate with the EM to foster a "fail fast" culture. You help create an environment where the team feels safe to experiment, learn, and grow together.
Who You Are
  • A Continuous Learner: The tech landscape changes fast, and you stay ahead of it. You are a self-starter who doesn't wait for instructions to explore new ways to improve the system.
  • Expert Practitioner: You have deep, hands-on experience with MongoDB, Serverless architectures (AWS), and modern Angular (familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake is a plus). You understand the nuances of building for scale.
  • Empathetic Collaborator: You understand that engineering is a team sport. You are a great communicator who can bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and team growth.
  • SDLC Advocate: You are proficient in the modern software development lifecycle, from local development and CI/CD to production monitoring.

Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as skills, knowledge, and demonstrated expertise.
Please note that the stated salary range is flexible and negotiable based on individual qualifications and fit for the role. We encourage candidates to discuss their salary expectations during the interview process.
Flexibility
The Senior Fullstack Engineer may benefit from the flexibility to work in a way that suits them best. We offer the following working options:
  • Office-Based: Our modern and well-equipped office space provides a collaborative environment where you can work closely with your team, engage in face-to-face interactions, and foster a sense of community.
  • Hybrid: For those who prefer a balance between office and remote work, we offer a hybrid model. This allows you to divide your time between working in the office and remotely, providing the best of both worlds.
