Job description

Order Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician

In accordance with state/federal regulation, the Order Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in practice of pharmacy. Assists pharmacist in performance of other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Good organizational skills and an orientation to detail is required
  • Clean driving record and valid Driver's License
  • Registered with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy
  • Excellent customer service skills
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with local, state, federal, and Company regulations.
  • Prepacking of stock including preparation of equipment and pre-pack labels, packaging and labeling of product for bar-code scanning, and quality control procedures.
  • Stock control functions including stock level audits, expiry date checking, stock file maintenance, and maintenance of internal stock movement.
  • General cleaning of work area and general maintenance of equipment and materials.
  • Maintains knowledge of loss prevention techniques
  • Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear
  • The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
  • Specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
