Fulfillment Associate I – Contract to Hire – Multiple Openings Available
 
Location: Grinnell, IA
Target Hire: 9/21/2026
Target Pay: $16.00 / hour
Eligibility: U.S. citizens or residents / EAD only

LIVIT Staffing is hiring multiple Fulfillment Associates for a growing operation in the Grinnell area, with several openings coming available throughout the fall and additional hiring expected as we head into peak season.

What Youll Be Doing
 
As a Fulfillment Associate, you'll help keep customer orders moving accurately and efficiently through a busy fulfillment operation. Depending on the area you're assigned to, your day may include:
  • Picking products accurately to fulfill customer orders
  • Packing products securely and preparing orders for shipment
  • Receiving and organizing incoming inventory
  • Kitting and other order fulfillment activities
  • Using handheld scanners and inventory systems to track product movement
  • Identifying and reporting order discrepancies or inventory issues
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Handling certain regulated or hazardous products according to established safety procedures
 
Important: Products handled in this facility may include ammunition and firearm parts/components. Employees will not handle actual firearms. Candidates must be comfortable working with and around these types of products.
 
Schedule & Overtime
 
1st Shift – Monday through Friday
Hours may vary depending on the current overtime schedule:
  • 8-hour schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
  • 9-hour schedule: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • 10-hour schedule: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
 
Weekend Shift
  • Saturday–Monday: 7:30 AM–8:00 PM
  • When the weekend shift is on overtime, employees may have the opportunity to come in during the week for additional hours
 
What We're Looking For
You do not need years of warehouse experience to be successful here. Previous warehouse, fulfillment, picking/packing, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience is helpful, but we're also looking for dependable people who are ready to work and willing to learn.
 
Candidates must:
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English and read/understand English letters and numbers to follow work instructions and safety procedures, use scanners, and communicate with supervisors and team members
  • Be comfortable using basic computer systems and handheld scanners
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting/carrying of items up to 25 lbs
  • Be comfortable standing and walking for the majority of an 8–12 hour shift
  • Be able to perform frequent walking, bending, lifting, and other general warehouse movements
  • Be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions
