Role Purpose
The Lead Aircraft Fueler will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the safe and efficient fueling/defueling, and servicing of aircraft at the airport. This individual is responsible for performing as a mentor to other employees. This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
What you will be doing:
  • Lead team members while performing fueling/defueling services in a safe and efficient manner
  • Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft
  • Trains employees during on-the-job training and/or airline specific training or assigns employees to work with experienced agents
  • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment
  • Assist Aircraft Fuelers in their assigned areas to ensure Fuelers are performing their duties in a professional, safe and efficient manner, according to Company/Carrier's standards.
