The Construction Manager will work closely with other members of the EPC team from pre-construction through turnover to operations. The Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of construction ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to the plans and specifications. The Construction Manager will be responsible for construction planning and scheduling, managing resources, providing quality and safety oversight, coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining project records, and resolving day-to-day issues. This role will work directly with the construction project manager, field engineers, subcontractors, and construction support teams including WS&H and Quality Management.

• Supervise field work and liaise between engineering and project management to ensure compliance with contract drawings and technical specifications.
• Supervise the coordination of construction field scopes to safely align with the project schedule.
• Supervise site logistics of the project site for deliveries, site activities, adjacent project coordination, and field scopes.
• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports and updates weekly schedule from project feedback.
• Review and understand the project specifications, nuclear safety basis documents, and construction work packages to support job set up activities. Work with field crews, field engineers, design engineers, subcontractors, DOE Field Office personnel, and federal/state regulatory agencies to safely manage nuclear facility construction.
• Analyze the work schedule to identify possible technical issues and provide scheduling recommendations to mitigate project risk.
• Provide technical input to identify and resolve project risks including construction methods, work plans, material and equipment requirements, safety, and schedule.
• Present construction work plan during project meetings to ensure all project crews and leaders are aligned.
• Coordinate with internal team and external subcontractors to ensure that project work is equipped with appropriate equipment and materials to complete construction within assigned schedule.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure all mandated inspections, including Inspection Test Plan holdpoints, and NQA-1 quality verifications are completed within requested timeframes.
• Support and promote strict adherence to nuclear safety culture, process controls, worksite safety, and documentation requirements.
• Supervise subcontractor work scopes and advise work schedule or work method adjustments, as needed.
• Coordinate project close out and turnover to operations activities in line with company standards, DOE requirements, NQA-1 documentation packages, and AHJ requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of Company values and strategic plan.
• Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.

• 15+ years of industrial construction experience required, with a minimum of 5 years in nuclear facility or DOE site construction.
• 7+ years of experience managing complex construction projects in highly regulated environments is required.
• Experience on DOE Hanford Site or other DOE nuclear facilities is required.
• Active DOE Q clearance or ability to obtain Q clearance is required.
• Previous experience working under Nuclear Quality Assurance standards is required.
• Experience with nuclear fuel cycle facilities, hot cells, or radiologically controlled construction is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to access DOE Hanford Site (requires background investigation) is required.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• NQA-1 auditor training or experience with nuclear quality assurance programs is preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Advanced knowledge of construction equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of nuclear facility construction safety protocols and proven ability to enforce nuclear safety culture and DOE‑mandated project safety programs.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to think critically and solve challenging problems with unique solutions.

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.

The base salary range for this role is $155,000 to $220,000 annually.

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors. In addition to base salary, for full‑time hires, you may also be eligible for long‑term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
