Seasonal Full Time Rotational Schedule

Colville, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A CDL Fuel Drivers to join our North Slope operations in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This position plays an important role in safely transporting and delivering fuel to customers and operational locations throughout the Greater Prudhoe Bay area.

Employees work a rotational schedule and stay at Brooks Camp while on shift. We are looking for dependable, safety focused drivers with HazMat and Tanker endorsements who take pride in their work, provide excellent customer service, and are prepared to operate in the challenging conditions of Alaska's North Slope.

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles and fuel delivery equipment
• Transport and deliver fuel to customer and operational locations throughout the Greater Prudhoe Bay area
• Load and unload fuel in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations
• Safely connect and disconnect hoses and fuel transfer equipment
• Follow established procedures for fuel handling, transfer, and delivery
• Conduct thorough pre trip and post trip inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment
• Identify and report maintenance, mechanical, or safety concerns promptly
• Safely maneuver tractor trailers, straight trucks, and other assigned vehicles in customer locations, yards, and active work areas
• Complete required driver logs, delivery documentation, inspection reports, and other operational paperwork accurately and on time
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, supervisors, and other team members
• Follow company safety policies and all applicable DOT, FMCSA, and environmental regulations
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Respond appropriately to spills, leaks, or other fuel related incidents in accordance with established procedures and training
• Work safely in extreme cold, snow, wind, reduced visibility, and changing road conditions
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support Colville operations

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazardous Materials Endorsement required
• Tanker Endorsement required
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A commercial driving experience
• Experience operating straight trucks, tractor trailers, and doubles
• Fuel hauling or fuel delivery experience preferred
• North Slope or Arctic driving experience preferred
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Must meet applicable FMCSA driver qualification requirements
• Strong understanding of DOT safety requirements and commercial vehicle inspection procedures
• Strong commitment to safe fuel handling and environmental compliance
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with fuel delivery
• Ability to work extended shifts in a rotational environment
• Ability to safely work in extreme Arctic weather and changing conditions
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Employment Requirements

Successful candidates must be able to meet all applicable pre employment and regulatory requirements, including:

• DOT pre employment drug screening
• Criminal background check
• Motor vehicle record review
• Fit for duty or medical evaluation as required
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
• Authorization to work in the United States

Life at Brooks Camp

While working your rotation in Prudhoe Bay, employees stay at Brooks Camp. Accommodations include a private room with bathroom, secure storage, television, recliner, and WiFi. Meals are provided while employees are in camp.

Work Environment

This position is based in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, and requires driving and working outdoors in Arctic and industrial conditions. Employees should be prepared for extreme cold, snow, wind, reduced visibility, uneven surfaces, changing road conditions, and the hazards associated with commercial fuel transportation and delivery.
