Job Summary:

The Bids Analyst reviews various procurement opportunities for municipal and commercial fuel users to evaluate our ability to perform under the requested requirements outlined in the request for bid. They will also complete proposals illustrating Global's capability to meet their specifications and gather the required documentation to be considered a responsible and responsive bidder. This role may provide pricing analysis utilized in determining the bid pricing that will be submitted as needed.

Job Description:

  • Annotate and analyze bid documents from various municipalities and commercial procurements
  • Work with various departments to compile pertinent data and documents for the timely completion of bids
  • Articulate and outline any risks to management
  • Work closely with legal to address areas of concern/risk to the company
  • Regularly communicate with external procurement teams or leaders to ensure compliance or seek clarifications of the requirements
  • Understand pricing mechanisms and indexes to provide appropriate analysis for pricing
  • Gathers historical product costs to determine bid increment
  • Compile and submit monthly, quarterly and biannual reports for various municipal contracts
  • Facilitate the process of obtaining updated insurance documents and performance bonds
  • Assist members of the team with customer support and systems support questions

Pay Range:

$81,000.00 - $121,400.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
