About the Role:

The Fuel Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-friendly fueling experience at retail fuel stations. This position involves directly assisting customers with fueling their vehicles, handling payments, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the fueling area. The Fuel Attendant is responsible for monitoring fuel levels, reporting any equipment malfunctions, and adhering strictly to safety protocols to prevent accidents or spills. By providing attentive and courteous service, the Fuel Attendant helps enhance customer satisfaction and supports the overall operational success of the retail trade environment. This role requires vigilance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all customers and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills to handle transactions and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting light equipment.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents, spills, and ensure environmental compliance.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring fuel stock levels and assisting with deliveries or restocking as required.
