Job description

Job Title: Fuel Truck Helper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Fuel Truck Helper to assist in the efficient delivery of fuel products. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Fuel Truck Driver to ensure timely deliveries, adherence to safety protocols, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Fuel Truck Driver in loading, unloading, and delivering fuel products to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of fuel trucks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

- Greasing & lubing equipment, checking oil levels, and airing up tires

- Support the driver in navigating delivery routes and confirming delivery schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the proper handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team to report any issues or delays.

**Ability to work 3am-12pm Monday - Friday

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. ****CDL & Hazmat Endorsement preferred **
- Strong understanding of safety regulations in the transportation and delivery of hazardous materials preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar role or in the logistics/transportation industry is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads, up to 75+ lbs, as required.
