What is an FTTH Project Manager?

FTTH (Fiber to the Home) Project Managers are professionals who oversee the planning, execution, and completion of fiber optic network installations that deliver high-speed internet directly to residential homes. Their responsibilities include coordinating teams, managing budgets and timelines, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and communicating with stakeholders. They play a crucial role in expanding broadband infrastructure and ensuring efficient, high-quality network deployment.

What are the main challenges an FTTH Project Manager may face during fiber deployment projects?

FTTH Project Managers often encounter challenges such as coordinating multiple contractors, managing tight installation timelines, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Unexpected obstacles like permit delays, adverse weather, and supply chain issues can impact project schedules.
