Title: Java Developer with Actimize

Location: Dallas, TX / Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH (Hybrid โ€“ 3 Days Onsite)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with Actimize expertise to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, NICE Actimize AML/Fraud solutions, and enterprise application development within the Banking or Financial Services domain. The candidate should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and be comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Develop and customize NICE Actimize solutions for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Detection, and Financial Crime Compliance.
  • Configure, customize, and implement Actimize IFM, RCM, AIS, or ActOne modules based on business requirements.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate Actimize applications with internal and external systems.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Compliance teams, and Product Owners to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Develop unit tests and support integration and system testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with NICE Actimize development and implementation.
  • Experience working on AML, Fraud Detection, Financial Crime Compliance, or Risk Management solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 databases.
  • Experience developing REST APIs and web services.
  • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Actimize IFM (Integrated Fraud Management).
  • Experience with Actimize RCM (Risk Case Manager).
  • Experience with ActOne platform.
  • Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Kafka or messaging technologies is preferred.
  • NICE Actimize certifications are a plus.
