Job description

Javelin Hobbies LV -Javelin FSD LLC, is seeking a part-time Hobby Specialist to deliver friendly, knowledgeable support in an onsite retail environment in Las Vegas, NV. This position is 1 day a week (8 hrs). Possible 2 days per week depending on operational needs. Our store is located in the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet and is operated by one employee within a booth area.

Position Summary

As a Hobby Specialist, you will help customers find the right products and get the answers they need to enjoy their hobbies. You’ll create a welcoming shopping experience, maintain product organization, and provide clear guidance based on your interest and understanding of hobby categories.

This is a part-time onsite role in Las Vegas, NV, ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, learning about new interests, and taking pride in delivering helpful service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with product selection, answering questions and offering recommendations

  • Provide friendly, accurate information to support hobby-related needs and usage guidance

  • Keep merchandise and displays organized, stocked, and easy to navigate

  • Support day-to-day store operations by maintaining a clean, well-presented sales floor

  • Process customer transactions and help ensure a smooth checkout experience

Required Qualifications
  • Comfortable working onsite in a retail setting in Las Vegas, NV

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional communication style
