Job description

Job Summary:
Xcellent Technology Solutions (XTS) is a veteran owned company focused on mission success and professional growth. They are seeking a Front End Web Developer to support analysts and mission partners within the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity by building web-based interfaces for complex data visualization and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• design and build front-end components for a production web application
• improve how users interact with critical information in an enterprise environment
• integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and back-end services
• contribute to improving usability, performance, and accessibility
• support interactive data visualization features that help users better understand and act on complex information
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 4+ years of professional experience in front-end web development, with demonstrated experience integrating with enterprise back-end systems via APIs
• Strong experience building responsive, single-page web applications using a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular)
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience working with REST APIs and back-end services
• Experience working with enterprise systems, including data-driven applications and service integrations (e.g., ITSM platforms, geospatial data services)
• Experience building or supporting interactive data visualization features using libraries such as D3.js or ArcGIS API for JavaScript
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design
• Experience developing accessible web applications in compliance with Section 508 standards
• Familiarity with modern front-end development tools, including package managers (npm/yarn), build tools (Webpack/Vite), and Git version control
Preferred:
• Certifications in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) or web accessibility (e.g., DHS Trusted Tester)
