What does a frontend developer intern do?

A frontend developer intern assists in designing and implementing the user interface of websites or applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They often work under supervision to create responsive layouts, fix bugs, and improve user experience, gaining practical skills in web development tools and frameworks. Internships typically involve collaboration with designers and backend developers to deliver functional and visually appealing web pages.

Additionally, interns often have access to internal documentation, development workshops, and team meetings, which foster both technical and professional growth. These experiences not only expand your skill set but also help you build valuable connections within the company, potentially opening doors for full-time opportunities after the internship.

Is frontend developer in demand in 2026?
