Front End Developer - great growth opportunity


Founded in 2001, IntuitSolutions is a leading technology company that offers its employees a full suite of company sponsored benefits, a generous time off policy and on-the-job training opportunities second to none.


The Company: IntuitSolutions is a well-established boutique agency that specializes in creating and managing web design, development, and digital marketing for merchants on BigCommerce, WordPress, and other platforms. We work with clients on a scale ranging from template installations and other minor jobs to complete website management including design, custom features, integrations with other software or services, and managed monthly content and structure optimization. We keep regular office hours and complete nearly all work on-site in-house.


The Position: We are looking for a Front End Developer with proficiency in HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, and CSS. PhotoShop, Illustrator and similar experience is a plus. Some experience programming with PHP and MYSQL or some object-oriented programming experience is preferable. The ideal candidate will have experience working with template-based content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.). Requirements:


  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Comfortable with Photoshop and Illustrator authoring
  • Experience providing technical support and customer service
  • Basic knowledge of SEO techniques
  • Creative, Critical, and Analytical thinking
  • Time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be detail oriented, intelligent, willing and able to learn on your own, follow directions and have excellent math skills
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal English, along with customer service orientation


Bonus Experience / Skills:


  • Experience with database driven ecommerce applications / platforms
  • Familiarity with online payment gateways and other ecommerce service providers
  • Knowledge of web hosting environments and technologies


The Location: this position is remote, though you will need to be available during business hours on the U.S. east coast. Our headquarters are in Philadelphia.
