Job Title: Front End Web Designer/Developer 2
Location: Hybrid Triangle Region, North Carolina.
Position Overview

NCDIT-Transportation (NCDIT-T) Web Systems Team is seeking a Front End Web Designer/Developer to support UX design and front-end development activities for enterprise web applications and websites used by NCDOT and NCDMV.

The consultant will focus on creating accessible UI components, maintaining user experience consistency, and supporting integrations across multiple enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain UI prototypes and web components.

  • Develop accessible HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript solutions.

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure UI consistency.

  • Support SharePoint, ServiceNow, SAP, Drupal Digital Commons, and Ferry automation initiatives.

  • Conduct training sessions and webinars for business users.

  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices.
