About the role
As a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using .NET, Angular, and AWS cloud technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.
In this role, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using .NET and Angular technologies.
• Build and deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices.
• Manage and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and reusable development templates.
• Enhance and support existing applications by identifying opportunities for optimization, performance improvements, and modernization.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to define, design, and deliver new features and applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting activities to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote engineering best practices across development teams.

What you need to have to be considered
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing applications using .NET and Angular.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience building and deploying applications on AWS Cloud platforms.
• Experience with Python development and scripting.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, software development best practices, and application lifecycle management.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks and responsive web application development.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to drive technical discussions, mentor team members, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $68,442 to $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
