As the Team LeadforFront End DevelopmentatMujin, you will play a pivotal role inproviding technicalleadershipand management supporttoa focusedR&Dteamdeveloping innovativesolutions.Team Leads are a vital part of the product development organization and lead software development for critical components of theMujinsystem.The role collaborates with theIntegrationTeam toevolve and extendMujinproducts, while also providing remote and onsite support.

Position Description:

• Position willsupport4-8individual contributorsfromearlycareerthroughsenior level.

• Design, develop,and implement high-quality,user-centricapplications using React and TypeScriptforadvanced robotics software.

• Architect andoptimizesoftwareinterfacesfor industrial automation environments.

• Utilizemindmaps,wireframes, mockups, and demos to gather user feedback and refine designs.

• Reviewdesigns, layouts,code and providedesigners anddevelopers with constructive feedback to drive continuous improvements in quality and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamlessfrontend-backendintegration.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in deployed systems.

• Instill disciplineand quality-first culturefortimelydelivery. I.e., first-time-right userexperience.

• Providementoring,coaching,andteamcommunications;andfacilitatecareer path planning.

• Other duties asrequired.

MinimumRequirements:

Bachelor's degreein Computer Science, Engineering,orequivalent+7years oftotalprofessional work experience withinTechnology/Softwareindustries.

• Strong understanding offrontendarchitecture and performance optimizationfor real-time, high-frequency data update; along with frontendtest automation frameworkssuch as Selenium and Playwright.

• 3+years ofteamleadership and management experience.

• Advancedcoding skills inReact,Typescript, along with frontend design tools such as Figma and Adobe.

• Experience creating visual effects and animations using CSS and SVG.

• Experience creating andmaintainingbundler configurationsusingWebpack, Rollup,esbuild,etc.
• Experience integratingfrontend systems with backend APIs(RESTful,GraphQL,gRPC,WebSockets).

PreferredRequirements:

• Master'sdegreeor PhDin Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• 10+ years of total professional work experience withinTechnology/Software industries.

• 5+ years of team leadership and management experience.

• Portfolio of visual design-driven projects in live production.

• Experience with real-time data pipelines or event-driven systems.

• Experience with robotics, industrial automation, or warehouse systems.

• Experience developing real-time dashboards for warehouse operations and robotics fleets.

• Experience building control interfaces for monitoring and managing automation systems.

• Experience visualizing real-time telemetry and operational data from robots and sensors.

• Experienceimplementingand adoptingAI-First growth transformation initiatives such as Claude Code, Codex,Copilots,etc.
