Job description


Design and develop scalable applications for property surveys, including offline-capable hybrid apps and mobile solutions for iOS and tablets to support field operations. Write flexible, maintainable code based on technical requirements and established system architecture, create test cases, and prepare supporting documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Guide system design and best practices and lead end-to-end delivery of projects to ensure timely execution and high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate business processes into technical solutions, coding and enhancing complex programs, troubleshooting application-level issues, and ensuring optimal performance across multiple environments.
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives such as multi-year platform re-engineering projects, integrate AI-driven features for survey automation, and implement emerging technologies to improve system performance.
  • Provide critical support beyond regular hours for disaster recovery activities.
  • Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.

Qualifications
Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a directly related field plus Five (5) years of Professional application development experience. Must have five (5) years of experience in the following: C#.NET, JavaScript, or VB.NET; SQL Server or NoSQL; ASP.NET Web APIs, WCF, or Windows Forms; Front-end Frameworks (Angular or React); Entity Framework or Object Relational Mapping (ORM); MVC, MVVM, Layered Architecture, or Repository Pattern; Agile Software Development Lifecycle; AWS fundamentals for cloud-based deployment and scalability; Elasticsearch for advanced search capabilities; Docker for containerization and application portability; OAuth and REST API for secure and standardized integration; Git and TFS for version control and collaborative development; Secure SDLC practices to ensure compliance and application security. Alternatively, employer will also accept a Master's degree plus Two (2) years of Professional application development experience. Must have two (2) years of experience in the following: C#.NET, JavaScript, or VB.NET; SQL Server or NoSQL; ASP.NET Web APIs, WCF, or Windows Forms; Front-end Frameworks (Angular or React); Entity Framework or Object Relational Mapping (ORM); MVC, MVVM, Layered Architecture, or Repository Pattern; Agile Software Development Lifecycle; AWS fundamentals for cloud-based deployment and scalability; Elasticsearch for advanced search capabilities; Docker for containerization and application portability; OAuth and REST API for secure and standardized integration; Git and TFS for version control and collaborative development; Secure SDLC practices to ensure compliance and application security.
