About this Role:
We are seeking a Senior or Principal Frontend Software Engineer to join our fast paced LiveOps team to help develop a tele-operations platform for public safety teams to respond quickly to 911 calls. BRINC offers an industry leading Drone as a First Responder (DFR) program and we expand features every day as we learn more and more how to make our customers as efficient as possible. This role will quickly prototype new features with customers directly, take features into full fledged production, and help transition to newer tech stacks. If you like quickly iterating on products to create the perfect UX, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve real time drone tele-operations features
  • Develop and improve cloud based products for Drone as a First Responder programs
  • Interact with end customers regularly to find improvements on UX/UI
  • Prototype new products quickly to find product market fit
  • Help lead migration legacy tech stack to a new tech stack

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering, computer science, or similar degree. Note - we are considering candidates for mid-career, senior, and principal positions.
  • 5+ years experience with front end of fullstack development
  • Experience developing reactful, asynchronous front end code
  • Experience working with backend developers to develop clean interaction between front end to backend
  • Experience with quick prototyping of new front end experiences
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with extensive data visualization packages
  • Experience rendering real time inbound data
  • Experience with single page apps
  • Experience with websockets and UDP
