Senior Frontend Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA Position Type: Full-Time, In-Person
We're building a gamified developer platform empowering tens of thousands of coders to compete in exciting software engineering challenges - all while pushing the frontier of LLMs!
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll become part of a passionate, fast moving team dedicated to solving challenging technical problems, designing engaging gamification experiences, and shaping the foundations to support the collective effort of developers worldwide.
What You'll Do
  • Design and implement intuitive, attractive, and engaging user interfaces that captivate developers
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build seamless gamified experiences and interactive coding challenges
  • Architect scalable frontend solutions, ensuring maintainability, performance, and reliability as our platform rapidly grows
  • Drive frontend best practices, code quality, and mentorship within the engineering team
  • Continuously experiment, iterate, and optimize user experiences based on data-driven insights and user feedback
What You Have
  • 3+ years of experience building scalable, performant frontend applications using React and TypeScript
  • Strong proficiency in styling responsive, attractive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS
  • Solid understanding of data fetching, state management, and API integration using GraphQL
  • Proven ability to architect maintainable, modular frontend codebases and establish best practices
  • Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries and frontend design systems
