Job description

Brief Summary: The Front-End Developer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the digital interfaces that shape the company's digital customer experience. This role contributes to the success of E-Commerce and marketing initiatives by developing responsive, accessible, and visually engaging web solutions that align with brand and business objectives. The position requires balancing technical development with creative problem-solving to enhance usability, performance, and conversion across digital platforms. This role collaborates with other members of the marketing team to ensure the delivery of cohesive, high-quality digital experiences that support company growth and operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
  1. Design and Development
    1. Develop responsive, mobile-first UI components and page templates for E-Commerce experiences (web site, email campaigns, social media posts, etc.).
    2. Build content with clean, scalable, and maintainable modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks).
    3. Build UX elements that enhance navigation, site flow, and overall customer experience.
  2. User Experience and Optimization
    1. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that align with brand standards and UI/UX best practices.
    2. Conduct usability testing, A/B tests, and behavioral analysis to optimize site performance and conversion rates.
    3. Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve UX across product pages, landing pages, and checkout flows.
  3. Website Management
    1. Partner with IT and E-Commerce to maintain, update, and troubleshoot website functionality, especially with the company's CRM (HubSpot).
    2. Manage and refine site content layouts, product page enhancements, and digital merchandising modules.
    3. Ensure all website updates adhere to SEO, accessibility, and performance standards.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    1. Work with the Creative and Brand teams to implement visual assets, style guides, and design systems.
    2. Support Marketing campaigns through landing page development, on-site banners, and promotional experiences.
    3. Participate in project reviews and technical scoping sessions.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in front-end development, UI/UX development, and web design.
  • Experience integrating CRM elements (HubSpot) within a website.
  • Proven experience building and optimizing E-Commerce websites (Shopify, Hybris/SAP Commerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or headless architectures a plus).
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript
    • React, Vue, or similar modern frameworks
    • Responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other UI/UX design tools.
  • Working knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO), UX testing tools, and analytics platforms (GA4, Hotjar, etc.).
  • Understanding of SEO, WCAG accessibility standards, and website performance optimization.
  • Capacity and desire to expand knowledge of software capabilities
  • Take initiative to plan, organize, and complete assignments independently
  • Initiate, maintain, and complete both short term and long-term projects simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and work effectively as a member of a team
  • Able to handle regular interruptions to serve the needs of others while maintaining focus on multiple priorities and short and long term deadlines

  • Experience integrating websites with CRMs, especially HubSpot

  • Experience integrating front-end components with backend APIs.
