Join Intel as a Facilities Chemical/Gas Metrology Technician, where you will play a vital role in sustaining and optimizing the chemical and gas metrology systems that power our cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing operations.

This role will focus on supporting the ICP-MS instruments within the Bulk Chemical Delivery (BCD) area. Your work will directly contribute to Intel's commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and delivering world-class technology solutions.

As part of our team, you will have the chance to collaborate on complex projects, troubleshoot critical systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards while maintaining the highest levels of safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operations support for chemical and gas systems and the associated metrology equipment, focusing on operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting

  • Gain understanding of the Bulk Chemical Delivery systems and the equipment operations

  • Become proficient in pulling and preparing samples from various types of equipment including blenders, CDMs, and bulk systems

  • Work alongside engineering and vendors to help maintain the analytical equipment that resides within the BCD areas including overseeing the vendor maintenance activities, PMs, and repairs

  • Become proficient on the Agilent 8900 ICP-MS and be able to run bottle samples in support of troubleshooting or characterization

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in STEM related with 2+ years of relevant experience

Relevant years of experience includes one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry laboratory functions and instrumentation

  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to analyze and resolve technical challenges

  • Relevant experience maintaining and operating chemical systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines

  • Experience with analytical chemistry techniques including sample preparation and analysis

  • Hands-on knowledge of analytical instruments such as Agilent ICP-MS instruments including operation and maintenance

  • Desire to grow within the role and contribute to Intel's culture of innovation and excellence

This position is for Shift 5: (Days frontend: AM-PM Sunday-Tuesday and alternating Wednesday days)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $72,680.00-120,110.00 USD (Hourly Role)The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
