Job description

Position Summary
This senior developer with 8+ years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience will be responsible for overseeing the development, configuration, and support of our eCommerce environments within Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud. Help troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to find root cause, and work on new feature enhancements as the platform is evolved.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, support, and documentation of complex Salesforce solutions using Pipeline and/or SFRA based Salesforce architectures.
  • Assist in the estimation of work effort, determination of required resources and schedule development.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and other members of the technology team to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our business objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and look to improve our Salesforce environment.
  • Be a primary participant in the planning and execution of migrating SiteGenesis (Pipeline) based applications to SFRA.
  • Be a subject matter expert for all things Commerce Cloud.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and regular team stand-ups.
  • Create technical documentation and process diagrams to help understand current and future state of our overall system, integrations, and other touch points.
  • Keep up to date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum 8+ years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud development utilizing Pipeline and SFRA based Link Cartridges and architecture.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security models and best practices.
  • Experience in front-end and back-end software design and development and related technologies, including:
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    • JSON and XML
    • REST and SOAP
    • NodeJS
    • DBMS/SQL
  • Experience with most of the following:
    • Agile
    • JIRA / Confluence
    • Git (Gitlab)
    • CI/CD
  • Track record of resolving integration issues.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Experience with migration of Pipeline to SFRA based architecture within Commerce Cloud.
  • Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Credential Certification.

Special Requirements:
  • Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs.
