Job description

Broad Function:

The Customer Satisfaction Manager is accountable to the Store Director and is responsible for all activities assigned to Bookkeepers, Front End Runners, Cashiers, Customer Service Associates (CSAs), and Carriage Associates in the assigned department utilizing payroll control, presentation, and employee relations to maximize profitability, control losses, and contribute to corporate operating objectives and Customer Satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities:

Oversee Front End Operations to ensure adherence to all company front-end standards and governmental regulations.

· Maintain customer service levels according to company standards.

· Ensure proper usage and maintenance of equipment.

· Achieve or surpass department productivity and payroll goals.

· Manage the ongoing recruiting, training, development and evaluation of all department

· associates.

· Ensure compliance with all state and company sanitation standards.

· Ensure compliance with corporate human resource/personnel policies and procedures as well

· Compliance of state and federal labor laws.(Minors)

· Implement front-end policies and procedures.

· Ensure proper inventory and usage of supplies.

· Ensure compliance with all loss prevention policies and procedures.

· Maintain cashier, podium and office cash handling procedures.

· Maintain the opening and closing schedules for the in-store cash office.

· Maintain proper inventory levels and merchandising of all front-end candy racks.

· Ensure the accurate completion of all corporate and SFS accounting-related paperwork.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Is responsible to close the store one night a week and possibly to assist in coverage due to vacations.

Standards:

Observe all store rules and company policies.

· Comply with company grooming and dress standards.

· Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.

· Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

· Maintain good communications within the department and throughout the organization.

Requirements:

The ability to effectively interact with customers and staff in a courteous, professional manner.

· Be familiar with and comply with all priorities and store policies pertaining to the position,

including punctual and reliable attendance.

· The ability to read, write, analyze, interpret and understand the English language with

sufficient proficiency.

· Knowledgeable in the various types of product carried in the store, as well as the location of

the product.

· The ability to perform duties and responsibilities in an efficient, satisfactory manner that meets

the minimum standards for productivity, accuracy, cleanliness, and safety.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift objects weighing in excess of twenty-five lbs. (25) occasionally.

· Possess sufficient physical mobility or agility to respond quickly to fire or other emergencies.

· The ability to perform all physical activities related to any/all front-end operations.
