As a Store Associate, you'll provide outstanding customer service while helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Welcome every customer with a friendly attitude and excellent service.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent ROCS Local Market with pride.
  • Operate the register accurately and efficiently, applying correct prices and discounts.
  • Handle cash and other forms of payment responsibly.
  • Monitor customer traffic and follow all security procedures.
  • Call for assistance or encourage self-checkout when needed to reduce wait times.
  • Stock merchandise, front-face shelves, clean, organize, and complete other store tasks during slower periods.
  • Promote current sales, promotions, and Rewards Card benefits.
  • Inspect and clean restrooms throughout the shift to ensure company standards are met.
  • Report maintenance, safety, operational, or cash handling concerns to management promptly.
  • Complete all assigned shift duties.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an entire shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to lift, stock, and move merchandise as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID required
  • Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening
