Job description

Temporary Administrative Assistant

This is a temporary position with an anticipated assignment duration of approximately 8 weeks. We're looking for a welcoming, organized, and reliable Administrative Assistant to be the face of our office and a key support for our Corporate Operations team. This role is focused on hospitality, front desk presence, and keeping daily office touches running smoothly. You'll set the tone for visitors and staff by ensuring their arrival and departure are positive and professional, while making sure the little details that keep an office running never get overlooked.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, greeting and checking in visitors while ensuring a positive and professional experience
  • Maintain general office cleanliness (trash removal, vacuuming, restocking supplies, etc.) including break area, meeting rooms, and general workspace upkeep
  • Supervise office supply management - order, track, and restock essentials to avoid shortages
  • Coordinate scheduling of conference rooms, prepare spaces for meetings, and arrange catering or lunch orders
  • Assist with onboarding by issuing badges, taking photos, and preparing new hire workspaces
  • Plan and support company events, including coordinating vendors, logistics, setup, and teardown
  • Act as point of contact for vendors and service providers related to office maintenance, supplies, and equipment
  • Handle light budgeting and expense tracking for office supplies and events
  • Provide hands-on support to the Corporate Operations team and pitch in with administrative or operational projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, accessibility, and security policies
