Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Read and understand maps, complete daily driver logs, and perform pre and post trip truck inspections.
•    Work in various weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold, wet or dry conditions. Note that truck cabs may not have air conditioning but may have a small fan.

Qualifications:
•    Minimum of 5 years of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL within the past 7 years.
•    Minimum of 3 years of previous Waste Hauling experience.
•    Preferred experience in Front Load Driving.
•    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements:
•    Experience driving a Front Load Truck is a must.
•    Must be at least 21 years of age.
•    Must possess a Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement valid for the state of application.
•    Clear driving record (drivers with a clean driving record in the last 3 years will be considered).
Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required:
•    Proficient in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with the general public, understand highway traffic and signals, and complete reports and records.
•    Successful completion of pre-employment (post-offer) drug screening, background and motor vehicle records checks, and Department of Transportation physical.
•    Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift, without reasonable accommodations.
