Job description

Paulsen is looking for a curious, motivated developer who loves building modern websites and digital experiences. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has a strong foundation in front-end development, enjoys learning new technologies, and wants hands-on experience working on real projects for national brands.

We care less about years of experience and more about problem-solving ability, curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.

What You’ll Do

Build responsive websites and digital experiences for web and mobile

Work within Craft CMS using Twig templating

Contribute to projects using React, Svelte, and modern front-end frameworks

Assist with headless CMS implementations and API-driven digital experiences

Collaborate closely with designers to bring UI/UX concepts to life

Use Git and modern development workflows to manage code and deployments

Participate in code reviews, collaboration sessions, and brainstorming meetings

Explore and implement AI-assisted development workflows and emerging technologies

Rapidly prototype ideas and iterate based on team and client feedback

Help ensure websites are accessible, performant, SEO-friendly, and scalable

What We’re Looking For

Familiarity with responsive design and modern web development practices

Experience with or exposure to React, Svelte, or similar frameworks

Basic understanding of PHP and/or server-side development concepts

Interest in CMS-driven development, especially Craft CMS and Twig templating

Understanding of Git and version control workflows
