As a Security Guard Front Desk Access Control in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a visible, professional presence that helps support a secure environment while communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and onsite teams. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
  • Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
  • Monitor access points, cameras, alarm systems, and other security-related equipment from the front desk, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, incident, and access records while communicating professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
