Job description

Marriott Dallas Las Colinas is seeking a professional, service-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our Rooms Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting daily front office operations, leading front desk associates, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring every guest experience reflects the high standards of Marriott service.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, a strong problem solver, and a hands-on leader who can support the team during busy arrivals, departures, group movements, and day-to-day hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise front desk operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth guest arrivals, departures, and service interactions.
  • Lead, coach, and support front desk associates to deliver warm, professional, and efficient service.
  • Assist guests with check-in, check-out, billing questions, room requests, and service recovery opportunities.
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism, urgency, and care while escalating major issues when appropriate.
  • Monitor room inventory, room assignments, special requests, and VIP arrivals.
  • Support Marriott Bonvoy recognition and ensure elite member benefits are properly delivered.
  • Assist with training new associates on front desk procedures, brand standards, systems, and guest service expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling, credit card, safety, privacy, and hotel operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, Loss Prevention, and other hotel departments.
  • Support occupancy, upgrade, and inventory strategies as directed by Front Office leadership.
  • Maintain a professional presence in the lobby and serve as a visible leadership resource for both guests and associates.
  • Complete shift reports, pass-on communication, and operational follow-up as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Previous hotel front desk experience required; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Marriott experience and knowledge of Marriott systems preferred.
  • Strong guest service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with normal front office duties.
