Responsibilities
The Med/Neuro ICU is seeking a RN to join our team. The nurse is responsible for direct patient care, delegation of appropriate tasks, communication with the multi-disciplinary care team, and documentation of care.
The Med/Neuro ICU is a recently renovated 20-bed unit which provides the highest-level acuity-adaptable care to medical, neurological, and surgical patients admitted to FirstHealth. MNU has been recognized for being CAUTI free for 2 years as well as being a Five-Star Recipient from Healthgrades for the treatment of Stroke and Respiratory Failure. We seek to develop and maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession.
Qualifications
  • Will be working 72/hrs per pay period as a staff RN for 12 weeks. Benefit status is consistent with casual part time benefits.
  • Former FHC employees and current agency staff are also eligible to apply.
  • At least 2 years recent acute care experience required. NC RN License or Multistate RN License required.
